| Moral judgment is individual evaluation on your own or another’ behavior or characteristics(good or bad,good or evil,right or wrong)process.Past research reveals many effect of moral judgment inside-outside groups,and to explore the factors that affect the inside-outside group effect including sex,personal relationship,nationality,occupation,region,etc.,especially about judging the inherent impression of objects.Ethnic stereotypes are of a certain ethnic inner character and outer behavior characteristics of the understanding of the stabilization and description,is people for generalization and summarization of the basic characteristics of the nation’s subjective.And when the object to determine the identity involved in the ethnic,there will be more prominent group of derogatory.What is more,if the subject has a negative impression on the object of moral judgment,it is more likely to be punished or condemned if the object is considered to be intentional in some negative results.The question of the relationship between stereotype and moral judgment is discussed in the background of multiculturalism,which helps us to understand the moral judgments and behaviors in the complex social and cultural context and also help to further understand the essence of moral judgment.Study 1,through the questionnaire,understand the current ethnic stereotypes situation of Tibetan and Han college students.The results show that Tibetan and Han college students do have ethnic stereotypes,stereotype content including positive and negative aspects,and given priority to with the positive impression.Study 2 is based on the results of the study 1 of a questionnaire to explore the relationship between explicit stereotypes and moral judgments.The results show that the stereotyped impression of explicit ethnic groups is negatively correlated with moral judgment,that is,the negative stereotypes of passive subjects is relatively loose,and the moral judgments of foreign groups are relatively harsh.Study 3,the implicit association test paradigm is used to explore the relationship between the implicit ethnic stereotype and the moral judgment of the group.The results show that the implicit ethnic stereotypes are significantly related to the moral judgments,and the moral judgments of the foreign groups with the negative ethnic stereotypes are more stringent.The moral judgments of the subjects with positive ethnic stereotypes are more relaxed,the main effect of the ethnic stereotype is significant,and the main effect of ethnic identity and its interaction with ethnic identity are not significant. |
