An Analysis Of The Music And Performance Of Piano Works "Dielianhua"

Dielianhua is an adaption work of Wang Jianzhong in 1976.It integrates artistic conception of Chinese poetry,charm of PingTan music and abundant piano performing techniques,reproduces the profound charm of Chinese traditional art to a great extent by means of piano and pushes Chinese traditional art to its peak.Wang Jianzhong is a renowned composer and pianist in China.Many of his adaptions of piano works realize a successful combination of Chinese national folk music and expression techniques of western instruments which are highly praised by audiences at home and abroad.This work stands unique in piano performing techniques.The adoption of traditional Chinese five-tone mode and performing techniques used in Pipa(Chinese lute)and Guzheng(Chinese zither)changes the traditional sound of piano.Multi-paragraph structure with variation techniques,free speed,creative layout under the principle of national music structure.This paper aims to study this adaption work from the angle of music performing to better master Wang Jianzhong’s creation style and interpret his works.Besides,the author hopes this study may drive the development of piano works with Chinese characteristics,enable more Chinese piano works to be recognized by audiences and provide insight for people to perform this work.
