This article is mainly to discuss Pulin Tang’s China traditional instrumental music creation.By interviewing Pulin Tang,the musical creations in three different periods of his career is introduced in this article.The author has summarized the main characteristics of Pulin Tang’s musical creation by analyzing the rhythm,melody,and phrasing structure of the two representative musical creation “dunhuangmeng”and ”xichengqinjie”.
