Artistic Characteristic Of "Yang Bailao" In Opera The White-Haired Girl

Opera The White-haired Girl is a milestone work in Chinese national operas;meanwhile,as the classical character in this opera,"Yang Bailao" aria is widely circulated and popular among vocal music practitioners.Started with the practical experience of author’s performance of "Yang Bailao" aria,taking introduction of The White-haired Girl as background,and associating with author’s artistic practical experience,this paper introduces and analyzes the depiction of "Yang Bailao" in music image as classical national opera and character’s artistic grasp.It aims that,from performance major perspective and combining with author’s actual feeling,extracts and analyzes objectively so as to extend to the thinking about baritone as well as bass in national opera.In addition,this paper proposes its own opinions according to the classification of voice part in national opera,and characteristics of baritone as well as bass in national opera.
