Books are good teachers as well as helpful friends for children when they are growing,in which not only could they find the happiness of reading but also they could be cultivated into good habits of reading.Most often,children’s reading,accompanied by their parents,is a good way of enhancing the interaction and communication between parents and children.Therefore,children’s books attract a great many designers because of their significance and particularity.The children’s books on the market,today,lack interaction with human beings in terms of the contents as well as the forms,which may bring difficulties for readers to be into the books when reading them.Although some designers have already taken some elements of interest,loved by children,into consideration,generally,the vision that designers design books basing on children’s perspectives is difficult to be realized.Hence,as far as the author is concerned,three-dimensional books break the traditional thinking of designing children’s books,which may eventually become a new development trend of the future field of designing children’s books and will basically meet children’s demands of happy reading.The basic purpose of books is to educate people and then to sufficiently develop children’s abilities of using their eyes,ears,mouths,hands and brains in the aspect of knowledge and interactive entertainment.Through a series of visiting and relevant investigations,the author posses relatively intensive knowledge of children’s physiology and psychology,meanwhile,he is also so aware of that three-dimensional books could realize the interaction between human beings and books which is significant to children’s reading.Enlightened by the concept of"interaction",combining with the familiar style designs of cartoon,after multiple comparisons and adaptations,the author finally determined to introduce the most popular traditional Chinese cultural stories and thoughts into the books.Besides,in the aspect of design,considering the regional characteristics of the story contents,it may result in some problems such as vapidity and incomprehensibility during the process of publicity.Hence,the author courageously adopted bright and exaggerated cartoon elements to arrange and design the figures,scene and stories,so as to engage a variety of disadvantages that were referred to in the previous part.Furthermore,the author also designed high-quality three-dimensional books by means of three-dimensional clipping which is accepted easily and happily by children.Meanwhile,by means of this design,the author intents to popularize Chinese ethnic legends and stories,with which even those children outside the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region could also be familiar.The author aims at taking advantage of the positive story contents to give correct guidance to children’s mental development so that it can be more healthy.Thus,not only will it help children cultivate correct views towards the value,the life and the world,but also it will be beneficial to school them into good personality.In this regard,the study aims at providing some design ideas and methods to the future designs of Chinese children’s three-dimensional books,which is what most of designers pursue throughout their lives.
