At the end of 19 th century and early 20 th century,China absorbed the western modern archaeology and produced the modern archaeology of China on the basis of the traditional jinshi.Accompanied by the emergence of Chinese modern archaeology,some archaeological research institutes dominated by the Government of the Republic of China have been established,and the archaeological education of Chinese has emerged.The archaeological education in the Republic of China was mainly aroused by some specialized archaeological research institutes.In the Republic of China,the domestic colleges and universities have not established archaeological majors to cultivate the archaeological talents,so the archaeological education in the Republic of China has not been able to embark on a specialization and systematization path.After the founding of New China,Beijing University pioneered the archaeological specialty in 1952 to solve the problem of scarcity of archaeological talents.After a period of time,the national comprehensive universities successively opened archaeological specialty,cultivated a large number of archaeological talents,the rapid development of Chinese archaeological education.Since entering the new century,the archaeological education of Chinese universities has entered a period of great development,and the archaeological education in China is continually developing and perfecting.On the one hand,the number of colleges and universities to open archaeological education is increasing rapidly,on the other hand,the archaeological education of colleges and universities gradually embark on a specialization and systematization The courses of archaeological specialty in colleges and universities have been perfected,and the archaeological fields of historical archaeology,science and technology archaeology,Frontier Nationality Archaeology,museology,ancient characters,flora and fauna archaeology,and archaeological academic team have grown and enriched,and the connotation of archaeological disciplines is also enormous.2011,the State Council degree Committee has adjusted the disciplinary system of our country,and archaeology is independent from the history of Chinese history and world history.Archaeology gradually formed an independent interpretation system,from the syndrome of the history of the separation from the formation of the further development of archaeological education to provide a broader space.The development of archaeological education in our country is evident.This paper expects to clarify the value of archaeological education through the carding of the development of archaeological education in China,on the one hand,affirms the contribution of the archaeological research institutes and colleges and universities in the process of archaeological education development,and explores the impetus of the archaeological expertise on the archaeological undertaking.In this way,we hope to arouse more people’s attention to the problem of archaeological education and to promote the development of archaeological undertakings better.
