| Because the existing tactile graphics can not be effective for the blind to provide clear content semantic information and the blind on the tactile graphics recognition efficiency is not high,from the blind’s demand for tactile graphics,by analyzing the needs and problems that blind people meet while they are using tactile graphics,related to the background knowledge of tactile perception,combined with the blindness of the perceptual pattern of tactile graphics,summed up several design principles that can help designers to improve the design of tactile graphics,as well as the ordinary visual image into the blind tactile graphics processing methods and laws。According to the new design principles designed for graphics,improve the usability of tactile graphics to a large extent,enhance the blind identification of graphic content accuracy,improve the blind to obtain tactile graphics information efficiency,validated the feasibility of this new tactile graphic design.The innovation of this paper is mainly to apply the theory of cognitive psychology to the research of blind tactile graphic recognition.Through the study of information processing model of cognitive psychology,compares the cognition of graphic information with healthy people,builds cognitive characteristics of blind people in the graphics information acquisition process,for designers design suitable tactile graphics for the blind.The Presentation of the new design principles for the Blind,Filled the blank in the study of the unique characteristics of the tactile graphics,For the design of tactile graphics and the publication of Braille textbooks to provide a theoretical basis and design direction. |
