The focus theory is a very complicated grammatical phenomenon,because it involved in different levels,such as syntax,semantics and pragmatics.The public welfare advertisement always uses the theory.The research for it is still going on,since it was put forth to.We mainly explore the types of focus and the way of implementation of focus,and then analyze the characteristics of the types and way of implementation of focus in the public welfare advertisement.Finally we intend to use the theory to make splendid public welfare advertisement.The article can be divided into three chapters.First chapter is the introduction.This section puts forward the research object--public welfare advertisement.And then introduces the main researches significance and research status at home and abroad.Finally,we introduce the research methods and corpus sources in this article.The second?third and the fourth chapter are the main part of this article.In this part we do some statistical analysis directing at types of focus and the way of implementation of focus(including phonological means?lexical means and the grammatical means),and then summarize the characteristics.The fourth chapter is about how to use the focus theory to make some substantial suggestions to superior public welfare advertisement.The third part is the conclusion,in this part,we summarize the main content of the article.
