In The View Of Ritual Communication About Tujia Tima Cultural Transmission And Protection

As a very important part of soil culture, the Tujia Tima ceremony is a window to fully understand the Tujia culture since it contains a lot of cultural elements. As for the study of the Tujia culture, the Tima ceremony is a good breakthrough, so it is of great research value. A number of researches of disciplines have covered the Tima activities,including sociology, anthropology, culture, art and so on, however, we can also make its research from the perspective of the dissemination of "ritual communication" for Tima itself is a ritual culture dissemination phenomenon, thus we can get a new understanding.This paper is divided into three chapters, the first chapter is to have an overview of the Tima activities, about the introduction of its process and symbols system and its properties for the purpose of understanding the foundation of Tima activities; the second chapter is to analyze the ritual communication properties and the communication value;and the third chapter will propose some constructive suggestions on the inheritance,dissemination and protection of the Tujia culture from the cultural phenomenon of the Tima ceremony.
