Alice Munro,who is a Canadian woman writer,from child to going to school,or getting married,having a children,divorcing and remarriage,has always insisted on writing.With the honor of " master of contemporary short stories ",Alice Munro became the 13 th woman in the history of the Nobel Prize in Literature.Munro,in the west,especially the United States,is far greater than the influence of China.Compared with foreign countries,more attention and research about Munro in China started in 2013,won the Nobel Prize.Alice Munro’s collection of short stories embodies a strong feminist thought.The formation of feminism in Alice Munro’s works is closely related to the overall impact of feminist movement,feminist theory and personal life experience.The content of feminist ideas in Munro’s works is from the pursuit of gender equality,to emphasize gender differences,seeking many women’s survival ways,and expecting a harmonious gender society.Feminist ideas in Munro’s works include rich diversity of women’s life experience of Canadian small town,beyond the limitations of the region.The feminist thought of Munro’s works is an effective rebuttal of radicalism.Munro’s “feminine writing” paradigm inspired the women writers and the Feminist of women to understand the nature of life and female identity,choosing their own life should be respected,finally find their own life orientation.The feminist thought in Munro’s works is not a war attack state.Looking at the life of women behind the story,without deliberate blame and praise of the position,respect for every female choice of life form.
