Research On Ge Fei’s Genre-breaking Writing

Ge Fei’s writing text presents a variety of genre-breaking writing phenomena.Its diversities not only embody a wide variety of non-literary texts in his novels,but also embody his fictions’ lyrical style.In addition,these diversities also reflected for selecting and rewriting traditional genres in writer’ s fictions,but also manifested the tendency about self-literature in his commentaries and so on.In this research,we can not only pay attention to the original forms and norms of the original texts,but also pay more attention to the aesthetic effect of the genre-breaking writing texts,respectively taking these genres like rumor,letter,diary as examples to analyze their aesthetic role in creating a more excellent fiction.This paper also explores the lyrical characteristics of the novels,pointing out that the changing "Jiangnan aesthetics" has given its literary works a unique poetic glory.The genre-breaking writing always reveals the writers’thinking for literature,history,survival and other propositions.On one hand,Ge Fei’s novels which have non-plotting characteristics play a very important role in breaking the principles of realist novels.On the other hand,the writers,writing style also reflects the fragmental survival in postmodern society.It can be seen that those essays that bouncing between the literary creation and literary criticism have not only deconstruct the rules of literary criticism,but also inspired the readers’ ability of thinking.Meanwhile,this research focuses on finding factors that affect the genre-breaking writing.At this point it can be said that the writer’s reference to western modernist literary techniques and the excavation of Chinese classical narrative resources are the two most important reasons.If Ge Fei pays more emphasis on using the skills like stream of consciousness,collage and meta-narrative skills in 1980’s,then the current period he is more likely to start practicing traditional Chinese literature forms.Furthermore,this research argues that the importance of literary criticism environment can’t be ignored for the guiding function to writer creation.A complex text always has something outside the paradigm.Thus,to a large extent,the interpretation of the text depends on the game of various forces in the literary research field,depending on the guidance of the commenters.The reason why Ge Fei constantly increasing the proportion of traditional style,and constantly emphasizes the use traditional genres,which has a very important link to the whole cultural context.Finally,the paper aims to evaluate the genre-breaking writing.The writer’s attempt is indeed benefit to the liberation of the reader’s imagination for literary narration.His activation to Chinese classical literature resources is also conducive to enhance the importance of subjectivity behind the language.But it must be pointed out that the genre-breaking writing also cause some problems like weakening the beauty of literature and so on.This research makes an aesthetic analysis to the mixed text through carrying out the whole reading of Ge Fei’s writing texts.This research also tries to return to the historical scene,hoping to find the reasons of the genre-breaking writing.It cannot be denied that the works written in different stages are uneven and the genre-breaking writing has many shortcomings.To readers,it is still not easy to identify these phenomena.
