| More and more countries and regions have been opened Chinese language courses.Domestic publication Chinese books for overseas learners also have mass emergency.But books really close to the living environment and learning characteristics of overseas learners are numbered, the majority of overseas Chinese learners still tend to choose local Chinese textbooks compiled locally. Teaching materials is a link between class and students, its quality directly determines the quality of teaching and learning.From the long-term perspective of the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, the preparation of some high-quality Chinese textbooks for different countries and different learning environment is the trend of times. The selection of topics and the preparation of teaching materials is the most important, it not only embodies the concept of teaching materials, but also closely related to the language structure, functional projects, cultural content selection. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze some outstanding nationalized Chinese textbooks and find out their characteristics and shortcomings in topic selection to provide reference for country-specificed textbooks.This paper chooses Intergrated Chinese for American college students and Experiencing Chinese for foreign students,making a comparative analysis of the topics of these two sets of teaching materials to examine the selection of topics under different backgrounds.The scope of the article is related to the distribution and presentation of the two sets of teaching materials, and the scenario design of the functional items and cultural contents and topic content related to the topic. After some comparative analysis we found that there are many coincides with the choice of topics, those two sets of teaching materials are focused on the choice of primary Chinese learners such as"personal information "and" basic communication information" topic, but there is a big difference in topic content Presentation and scenario design.The topic of Intergrated Chinese is more diverse than that of Experiencing Chinese , and the topic of the textbook is written in the form of "Simulating the real communication scene". The design of the dialogue subject is more realistic and vivid, dialogue and conversation scene stronger. In addition, Intergrated Chinese pays more attention to culture contents, the Culture Highlights section related to the topic is designed after class and has a small contrast between Chinese and Western cultures. In the topic of the arrangement of the project,the "functional project" as the key link Experiencing Chinese in the function of both the number or in the reproduction rate are more than "topic" as the key link Intergrated Chinese. On the basis of summarizing the characteristics of the two sets of teaching materials, five suggestions were put forward for the topic selection of the primary Chinese textbooks. |
