A Study On The Motivation Of New Words In Modern Chinese Dictionary (6th Edition)

In this paper,the new dictionary of "Modern Chinese Dictionary"(6th Edition)is used as a corpus to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze its motivations,and summarize its characteristics.The article is divided into six chapters.Chapter one: Introduction.Introduce research significance,research status,research design.Chapter two: Word is a kind of logical thinking activities,and the new words are followed by certain regularity.The logical relationship between the new morpheme and morpheme is mainly embodied in nine aspects: the same relationship,the same relationship,the antagonistic relationship,the subordinate relationship,the dominance relation,the judgment relation,the definite relationship,the coincidence relation and the description relation.The most important relationship is the relationship.Chapter three: Word is a language activity,the material,way,means and so on with the language of speech,grammar,semantics and other inseparable.The language of the language of the existence of language,but also the most primitive of a human word method.There are 45 words in the new noun which are produced by the two kinds of phonetic sounds.The grammar is the organization rule of the language.The word formation of the compound word is restricted by the grammar law.Newly constructed nouns have simple morphemes and synthetical morphemes.The structure of the two-syllable 1 + 1 type of absolute superiority,three syllable to 2 +1 type main,four syllable to 2 +2-based.The semantic is the content of the word,the semantic role lies in the word to contact the things to determine a suitable category.In the semantic point of view,the minimum semantic units of the new nouns are the same as the subordinate elements,and the semantic units of the new nouns are given the category of "X + nouns".The nouns generally stipulate the category of new nouns,Yuan,element yuan,shape element,color element,place yuan,way yuan,time element,the number of dollars,the recipient yuan,the nature of yuan,behavior and so on.Chapter four: Rhetoric is a means to strengthen the effect of language expression,people in the process of making words will consciously use a variety of rhetoric,so that the word more vivid,more vivid expression of the image.Newly used nouns mainly use metaphor,by generation,exaggeration,politely,simplified,split word,transfer class and other methods.Chapter five: The relationship between culture and vocabulary is very close,and the national culture will be reflected in the language vocabulary or directly or indirectly.Religious culture,color culture,taboo culture,totem culture and so on in some new terms are reflected.Chapter six: Conclusion.Through the closed analysis of the new nouns,we find that the new nouns have the following characteristics: the emergence of new nouns reflects the legitimacy of the language rather than the arbitrariness;The main reasoning of the new noun is unbalanced;the new term is based on the morpheme;fifth,the new nouns of the main word method from the logical point of view is limited off,from the grammatical structure point of view Is a partial formal;new nouns with the family of words have differences in the rationale,individual arguments have multiple reasons.
