"Hai Nei Shi Zhou Ji" is a special kind of book in geographic museum of mystery novels, while among the short article length, it contains a variety of theory chain and ideological content. Nowadays, some scholars have studied it. But those studies are usually attached to other researches, or just act as a small branch of a topic, so it lacks of systematic analysis and carding. This paper attempts to base on the text and the previous studies, to pursue a various types of research on "Hai Nei Shi Zhou Ji", in order to enrich the research findings.This paper is divided into 5 parts:Prat 1 focuses on the author and the written time of Hai Nei Shi Zhou Ji. On the author, we consider the Name-borrowing phenomenon in a certain aspect. On the written time, we take the title rheology into consideration. And we also carded the extant versions of Hai Nei Shi Zhou Ji.Part 2 mainly discusses the relationship between Hai Nei Shi Zhou Ji and the Geographical Theory of "Nine Large Lands". Which involves the issue of island placement, the relationship between Hai Nei Shi Zhou Ji and the Geographical Theory of"Nine Large Lands", and the differences between Ten Islets and The Nine Large Lands.Part 3 conducts a comprehensive review of the fairyland from 3 aspects: the environment (natural and human environment), natural resources (animals, plants and minerals), and characters (mortals and immortals).Part 4 explores the myth and legends in Hai Nei Shi Zhou Ji. We focus on the Kunlun myth and Penglai fairy tales, examining their integration in the book, and we also studied the historical legend intervention.Part 5 mainly discussed its literature value. Analyzing the influence on later literature from themes and techniques, and we also inspected the relationship between Hai Nei Shi Zhou Ji and the fantasy fictions.
