Nowadays, with the continuous development of society and progress, sentimental consumption consciousness gradually formed and perfected, the mascot of the sentimental cognition also gradually improve. Mascot is no longer a pure commercial physical form, but in character form bearing the people’s cognitive and emotional sustenance. Mascot of specificity,symbolism,the symbol value and pleasure of emotions deep spiritual and cultural needs, also become the focus of attention. Mascot design sentimental demand research is a complicated system, also will be a gradual process of constant development, and our country in this research is still in its beginning stage, so the purpose of this article is based on the sentimental demand of the mascot design idea and implementation for research.In this paper,through using the method of literature retrieval,interdisciplinary study,research, analysis and other research methods, psychology and consumer psychology of aesthetics, art and design in areas such as crossover study, the sentimental demand and sentimental level correlation theory in the design of the study, analyses the characteristics and advantages of sentimental design and sentimental consumption psychology, guiding thedesign of sensibility. The sentimental design mascot design case, the combination of theory with practice analysis of the mascot design of emotional factors. And based on the sentimental factors of the mascot design to analyze the sentimental demand in the mascot design performance, and based on this and on the analysis of the problems existing in the domestic mascot design, based on the sentimental demand mascot design idea was put forward. Finally through the sentimental design of three levels corresponding to the property of the mascot, summarizes the implementation of the mascot design, and problems needing attention.Through the analysis of the sentimental demand of the mascot design train of thought for further comb and explore, at the same time to identify and explore method to realize the mascot, so the sentimental to make further studies of the mascot design. Hope in the future of the mascot design, the design idea and implementation can provide reference for mascot designers design thinking clear context, so it can get reasonable use and with the development of the era constantly give it new meaning,so as to create a good mascot to make consumers get emotional satisfaction,also can bring more value to the demand side.
