Dulong Teenagers' Life Attitude—compared With Life Attitude Of Lisu,Nu And Han Teenagers

Dulong is one of the ethnics in China which transited from the primitive society to the socialist nation,inhabited in the corner of Dulongjiang area which belong to Nujing canyon.In recent years,the region's economy and education have been greatly developed with the construction of infrastructure and the implementation of the national assistance program.But at the same time,the phenomenon of Dulong People Dutch act through news reports has aroused widespread concern in society.But the phenomenon of the Dulong People' Suicidal behavior has aroused widespread concern in society after News report.What status of life attitude the Dulong teenagers have in the crucial period of physical and mental development? What are characteristics of the death contact experience and the subjective life-span expectancy?Whether they are different with Lisu,Nu,Han nations on various aspects above?This research studies these problems in order to promote Dulong teenagers' healthy growth and improve the quality of life of teenagers living in Dulong area.The research chooses four schools of Gongshang County which the students are most concentrated as the source of subjects,including Dulongjiang nine year school,Bingzhongluo middle school,Bingzhongluo primary school and Gongshang first middle school.The research objects are 960 students from grade 4 to grade 12,in which the number of valid sample is 660,including 246 Dulong,172 Lisu,171 Nu,36 Han.The research investigate the life attitude and related problems in 3 studies with Short Version Life Attitude Scale and self compiled Indigenous Life Attitude questionnaire and Subjective Life-span Expectancy Scale.Study 1 investigates the status of four national teenagers' life attitude.The results show four national teenagers have a positive attitude in mainstream life attitude,and a negative attitude in the indigenous life attitude.Dulong teenagers' single parent rate is not as prominent as news reports,the alcohol-drinking tendency and behavior as well as the death contact experience are at a relatively low level.Dulong teenagers' subjective life their expected actual life compared to the family long.The teenagers' subjective life-span expectancy is longer than the nation's actual life span.Study 2 compares the life attitude and the subjective life-span expectancy of Dulong teenagers in demographic variables,and the demographic variables,life attitude and subjective life-span expectancy among four national teenagers.The results show that in mainstream life attitude of Dulong teenagers,girls are morepositive than boys,middle school more positive than primary school in general,ones who have death contact experience score higher than the noes without such experience in “love and care”dimension.In indigenous life attitude,primary school students score higher than junior middle school students in the Christian life attitude,primary school and senior high school students both higher than junior middle school students in drinking attitude related life,drinker and experiencers of relatives' death higher than the opposite in primitive religious life attitude.In subjective life-span expectancy,the ones who has single parent and drinker score lower the opposite.In the contrast among four groups,Nu scores higher than Lisu in primitive religious life attitude,Han higher than Dulong and Nu in drinking attitude related life,Lisu higher than Dulong in subjective life-span expectancy,Study 3 investigates the relationship between the demographic variables,indigenous life attitude and mainstream life attitude.The results show,for main mainstream life attitude,that the gender has a significant negative predictive effect(girls as reference),the primitive religious life attitude no significant predictive effect,the Christian life attitude a significant positive predictive effect,drinking attitude related life a significant negative predictive effect.To sum up,the conclusions are below:1.Dulong teenagers have a positive mainstream life attitude,but negative attitude for the indigenous life attitude,including the primitive religious life attitude,the Christian life attitude and the Drinking attitude related life.The status of of Lisu,Nu and Han' teenagers are same as Dulong teenagers'.2.From the aspects of singel-parents-or-not,drinking-or-not,death contact experience and anticipated cause of death,Han teenagers are better,Nu teenagers worse,Dulong and Lisu teenagers in the middle of levels.So the Dulong teenagers are not special among four groups in behaviors and experiences related life attitude.3.The subjective life-span expectancy of Dulong is shortest among four groups,but is more optimistic than it's real average life span.4.For the mainstream life attitude,only the drinking attitude related life has a negative predictive effect,the primitive religious life attitude no predictive effect,and the Christian life attitude a positive predictive effect.So the indigenous life attitude and mainstream life attitude are not completely contradictory.
