The flood myth exists in almost all rhyme style(ancient songs,narrative songs)or prose(legend,folk)of ethnic minority literature in Guizhou.The more development the modernization has had,the severer ecological crisis human being has faced.The flood myth contains abundant ecological wisdom which rooted in Guizhou,such a picturesque place.It is undoubtedly a pity that no systematical researches are operated from the perspective of theory.This research uses the theory of ecological criticism to reinterpret flood myth of ethnic minorities in Guizhou,therefore,it is a pioneering research.This thesis intends to reevaluate the flood myth of ethnic minority in Guizhou by using ecological theory and ecological literature and exploit the ecological wisdom and modernized inspiration.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is about the dimension of natural ecology in the flood myth of ethnic minorities in Guizhou.According to the analysis of the texts of the flood story,it can be seen that the ancestors of the ethnic minorities in Guizhou present the ideas of animism and integration of human and nature in nature worship.The second chapter is about the concept of social ecology in flood myth of ethnic minorities in Guizhou.This chapter interprets ecological wisdom in flood myth of ethnic minorities in Guizhou from three perspectives:the cause of flood,introspection of good and evil and reconstruction of human.The third chapter is about the inspiration of the ecological culture of flood myth of ethnic minorities in Guizhou.Facing with the increasingly serious ecological crisis,the ecological thought of harmonious coexistence between human and nature embodied in flood myth of ethnic minorities in Guizhou needs to be thought and sought.Return beauty and spirit to nature.Live a poetic life in nature.
