On Marx’s View Of Religion And Its Value And Significance In Contemporary China

Religion is an important theme of human society.In primitive society,human could not explain the mysterious power of natural phenomena,so personated the nature to some powerful people.This was the origin of primitive religion.When the human stepped into the class society,religion became the tool of the ruling class to control the thought of ruled class and serve the ruling class itself.Since the founding of New China,although there was no ruling class religion,because of the backwardness of economy and people’s poor scientific literacy,the religion still existed in the long term and widespread.Successive governments and leaders in our country always stressed the importance of religion in national life,and treated the religions as national affairs.Against this background,the phenomenon and the essence of religion was interpreted by Marx’s view of religion in an unprecedented way,using views of historical materialism.The Marx’s view of religion provided us ideological weapon to understand and solve the religion problems and could be applied for China’s socialist economic construction and the realization of communism.Under this guiding ideology,the formation and connotation of Marx’s religious view were explained and the value and significance of Marx’s view of religion in China’s current society were discussed.First of all,four stages of Marx’s view of religion were summarized as: Christian faith stage,idealist atheism stage,materialist atheism stage and historical materialism stage.The Marx view of religion grew up during Marx’s deeply social practice and thoughts gradually improving,which could be tested by time and practice and is a kind of comprehensive,historical and materialism view to religion.The ideological basis of Marx’s view of religion is atheism.Secondly,the formation of the Marx’s view of religion is based on the criticism of Feuerbach’s religion view which belongs to the idealist view of religion.Marx combined religion and social practice,found the essence of religion in social practice and formed the view of religion.The connotation of Marx’s view of religion could be understood from the following four aspects: the origin of religion,the essence of religion,the social function of religion and the development of religion.Finally,as a multi ethnics and religions country,China’s religious issues are often interwoven with political,economic,cultural and ethnic issues,which form a complex and sensitive situation.To understand the importance of religious issues,to guide and deal with religious issues are of great importance to the social stability and economic construction of our country.Currently,our country’s main tasks focus on the maintenance of social stability and the socialist economic construction,which requires us to expand the publicity of the Marx’s religion view,further popularize of sciences,guide the development trend of the religious view of the socialist society,then form an atheistic belief in communism.The propaganda of Marx’s religion view to the members and leaders of Chinese Communist Party can maintain the advance of the party and improve our party’s governing ability;the propaganda to common people can maintain social stability,and have a positive significance to promote the building socialism;the propaganda to religious people can guide China’s religious development to socialist values.The propaganda to these three kinds of people can realize Chinese dream.
