A Typological Study Of The Journey Comedy In Lost On Journey Series

The Lost On Journeywas released in 2001,which eventually won nearly 40 million of the box office compared with only 8 million of the investment,triggering a heated discussion in the media and the public.Subsequently,Lost In Thailand and Lost in Hong Kong directed by Xu Zheng have been released,which means that Lost On journey as a kind of travel comedy film has been recognized by the Chinese market and Chinese audience.However,the academic community has not been able to comb and study the series of films.Therefore,this paper will be based on the typology theory framework,analyze the types of programs and the change process of "lost on journey" series,summarize the theme of this series of films andexplore its aesthetic characteristics.On this basis,the paper will summarize the inspiration and reference of “lost on journey”series to the Chinese local film.This paper mainly contained the following five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly aims at the research background,current research status and purpose,as well as the significance of the film.Through the interpretation and description of the monograph and journal articles,this paper studies the main direction and main problems of "lost on journey".The second part: define the series of films through the creation and development of this series of travel comedy movies.Define the series as a new type of domestic films-"travel comedy".We will analyze the production mode of Lost On Journey that is the original program of this series of films.The third part: Investigation on the type of " Lost On Journey " series travel comedy.This section is mainly about the analysis of the changes of type programs and type elements from Lost On Journey to Lost In Thailand and from Lost In Thailand to Lost in Hong Kong.The fourth part: the theme and the aesthetic features of " Lost On Journey " series of movies.This part firstly analyzes the core theme of the middle age crisis in the film from the theme of " Lost On Journey " series of Travel Comedy movies.The second is to start with the aesthetic characteristics of this type,analyze the creation of comedy and the image style of post-modern movies.The fifth part: the Enlightenment of " Lost On Journey " series of travel comedy to the domesticfilm,which is mainly discussed from the following two parts.One is to learn from the foreign excellent type of film paradigm and localization transformation The two is to create a brandof genre film.
