| Respiratory is one of the important physiological bases in the process of human speech.By collecting and analyzing respiratory and acoustic-phonetic signals simultaneously,the paper focuses on the respiratory prosody of metrical poems and Song Ci Poetry in Cantonese chanting and reciting,especially the relationship between respiratory prosody and sentential pause-extension.The paper is divided into the following five chapters.The first chapter makes an introduction of the current situation and development trend of domestic and foreign research,and makes a brief description of experimental design and research methods.The second chapter discusses the relation between the respiratory and prosody of metrical poems in Cantonese chanting.And we find the prosodic hierarchy of Five and Seven-Syllable Poems have two levels,the prosodic phrases of Five-Syllable Poems fall at the end of the second syllable of the clause.The prosodic phrases of Seven-Syllable Poems usually fall at the end of the second syllable of the clause with tone pattern of Level-start and Level-end,or at the end of the fourth syllable of the clause with other tone patterns.In the third chapter,the relation between respiratory and prosody of Song Ci Poetry in Cantonese chanting is mainly studied by dividing the prosodic hierarchy of different sentences,we find that three,four and five-character sentences can be the separate prosodic phrases,and six and seven-character sentences can be the separate prosodic sentences.The fourth chapter studies on the relation and presentation of respiratory and prosody of metrical poems in Cantonese reciting through different level-oblique and sentence styles,we can find that Five-Syllable Poems are made up of three-level breathing-reset,and the prosodic phrases of Five-Syllable Poems fall at the end of the second syllable of the clause.The Seven-Syllable Poems contain two-level breath reset and the prosodic phrases fall at the end of the second or fourth syllable of the clause.three,four and five-character sentences of Song Ci Poetry cannot be the separate prosodic sentences,but six and seven-character sentences can be.The fifth chapter makes a summary of the conclusion and some further problem.Through the above study,we can re-understand the physiological basis of the Respiratory and Prosody characteristics in different conditions,so as to enrich the research on the physiological characteristics of Cantonese pronunciation. |
