A Practice Report On The Consecutive Interpreting Of Yin Hong’s Speech On Building Film Culture In A Moderately Prosperous Society

This practice report is based on Professor Yin Hong’s speech on Building Film Culture in a Moderately Prosperous Society,which was given in 2016.This interpreting practice was carried out in the way of consecutive interpreting.This report contains five chapters,respectively the task description,process description,preparations for interpreting,case analyses and summary.To start with,the report describes the task and the task finishing process in the first two chapters.In the third chapter,it introduces the preparations for this practice.The fourth chapter of case analyses is the major part of this report.Examples from the interpretation are listed as cases to comprehensively analyze the interpretation of vocabulary,sentence and discourse.And in vocabulary interpretation section,there are interpretation of culture-loaded vocabulary,professional vocabulary and numbers.In the sentence interpretation section,contents are divided into the speaker’s slips of tongue and sentence simplification.In discourse interpretation section,cases on summarizing central idea,perspective of person and denotation are listed to analyze the interpretation of discourse.In the fifth chapter,the author summarized the experience and lessons learned from this practice as a foundation for future interpreting practice.
