At present,both domestic and international studies about the development of Chinese teaching in Poland are very scarce.Most of the researchers usually introduced kinds of general situations of Chinese teaching development in Poland,and the majority of those introductions are out of time.These studies cannot guide the teaching practice,discover and solve problems in Chinese teaching practice.Therefore,this paper is devoted to making an in-depth study about four Chinese speech acts of second language learners in Poland,based on second language acquisition studies.It aims to strive to make up for the lack of Chinese pragmatic teaching researches in Poland,to cultivate the Chinese pragmatic competence of Polish learners more effectively,and to provide beneficial reference for teaching Chinese as a second language.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is a general introduction and the second part is literature review.These two parts summarize the previous researches on pragmatic competence and speech behaviors,and apply the useful related theories and experiences to enrich the investigation process.In these two parts,this paper also analyzes the limitations of previous researches and puts forward some questions and makes reasonable assumptions accordingly.The next two chapters are the main parts of this paper.The third part describes the investigation process in detail,including questionnaire design,variable control,strategy description and corpus statistics,etc.This paper analyzes the results of each speech act,and makes a comparison of Polish learners and Chinese native speakers.The fourth part,based on the above investigation,carries out research and analysis to find eight major factors which influencing the polish Chinese learners mostly and explains the exactly reasons and degree of influence in details.In the final part,this paper proposes appropriate suggestions for teachers,teaching materials and teaching technology,in order to promote the learning of Chinese speech acts and cross-cultural pragmatic competence of Polish learners.
