Study On The Design Of Small Open Book In The Perspective Of Mobile Reading

This paper mainly discusses my research on the design principles and methods of the book binding design in the social environment of mobile reading.The paper books now faced sparked my thinking.Through the observation of the life,I found that the miniature books have certain help to solve related problems.Aalong with modern society people reading far away from traditional reading but close to mobile reading,in miniature book category,I further puts forward mobile miniature book reading environment design concept.This study is based on the related design theories of book binding design,it will incloud reading psychology,sociology,human body engineering and so on many interdisciplinary knowledge penetration and analys deeply from a variety of topics which mainly includes the following several parts:First of all,by my analyzes at the early of the study of the related data,in the first chapter I analyzes the evolution of miniature books at home and abroad and the present research situation of the theory of practice,knew some of the successful cases of miniature books,such as: Britain’s penguin,Japan’s library book,Chinese Jin Xiang Ben etc.,but it also reflects the domestic market of miniature books are mixed varying quality and the short of related theoretical research.At the same time,under the background of mobile reading,based on the theory of book design,I pointed out the research direction of miniature books,combing out the research significance,purpose,innovative point and method,build up the research framework of this paper.Secondly,I studies the books of small open books in the perspective of mobile reading experience.The second chapter analysis and summarizes the questionnaire data,On the basis of the book reading experience research of miniatureh,analysis reading model under the background of fragmented time,discusses the using circumstances of miniature mobile reading books,study its users.Then Comparative on multiple reading model mainly on the comparison of the miniature books and electronic media,miniature books and the comparison of large-type books,analyses them advantages and disadvantages,also provide a reference for later design research.The third part study the motion of the reading habits.combined with relevant theory and data in the third chapter,the paper summarizes mobile reading habits of three main characteristics the current: diversity characteristics,entertainment features,utilitarian reading tendency.According to the behavior characteristics of the three reading habits,in the fourth chapter,the paper make a further discussion on the reading psychology of users from the perspective of reading psychology,and divided mobile reading behavior into purposeful reading and pleasure of reading on the basis of three levels of books reading.Then,in the fifth chapter the paper analysis the elements of the miniature books design,combined with market research and related literature data,it analysis form five aspects: size of books,paper,binding,color,word and carries,summarized the research contents and research methods involved in the design of miniature books,as well as lay a theoretical foundation for innovation strategy implement of miniature books design.Finally,the paper study the innovation strategy of small open book binding design combined with the previous research theory and results study in the previous six chapters.It mainly explored the book’s comfort level and the synesthesia of reading;On the one hand,according to the small size,comfort,through design,the application of color,reading fluency,reading psychology and human body engineering and other related content,the paper put forward relevant innovation strategy from the miniature books’ size,use material,binding mode,color selection,content arrangement.On the other hand,starting study from the five senses of the body: the visual esthetics,the sense of touch,hearing,smell,taste,and analyze the synesthesia feeling of miniature books,summed up the profound influence that the users’ emotional reactions triggered by miniature books reading experience.This paper explore the principle of a portable and practical tha the miniature books design should followed on base of the perspective of mobile reading,than deeper mining its innovation strategy and design method which has certain theory value and practical significance.I hopes to create a better experience for modern books reading,hope to have a little help to the development of the inheritance of paper books also.
