Present time,accountants of enterprises are not only capable of the accounting major knowledge,but also need to have a good proficiency in English for this position under the background of globalization.Therefore,the training aims of Accounting English in Higher Vocational Institution are to make students master the relative accounting knowledge and skills for future accounting job,at the same time the students need to have a good command of accounting English.But the traditional content of Accounting English only focus on the teaching of the subject knowledge and accumulating the vocabulary of Accounting English,ignoring the integrative competence of students for future accountant.And the content of the Accounting English can not join with the practical accounting job.With the relative reference,the study is to reconstruct the content of Accounting English by using the developing concept of curriculum basing the working-process and taking accounting major of A Institute as an example.The writer made a survey for the graduates of the major accounting and their situations of employments to analyze their working-tasks and career ability of English Accountants,then converted them into study-tasks of this curriculum according to the actual level of students.The writer hopes to improve students' skills of accounting English and career competence to meet the needs of future career position.The writer came out an conclusion that there is a great demand of English accountants in the enterprises from the survey made by the writer in the A Institute.It's necessary to set up this course in the Higher Vocational Institution.However,the Accounting English skills of students cannot catch up with the demand of English accounting job.After analyzing the reasons,the writer think it's feasible to reconstruct the content of Accounting English.Therefore this study tried to analyze the typical working tasks from the different positions of English accountant,getting the relative working abilities during the working process,then which are transferredinto the study tasks during the learning of Accounting English.Combined with the practical study of students in the A Institute,the writer reconstructs the content of Accounting English and designs the relative situated instruction and presentation.At last,the writer gives an conclusion and rethinks the weakness of this study.
