Classroom activity has always been playing a crucial role in the second language pedagogy.It is a key research item for TCSL teachers and the relevant researchers.Comprehensive lesson is a kind of class type which has strong practicability of language and a large quantity of information.Those factors make it occupy an irreplaceable position in the second language teaching and learning.It is an important carrier for classroom activities.The author designed a student-centered classroom activity observation scale to quantify and analyze the classroom activities in comprehensive lessons,which can objectively and scientifically evaluate it.At the same time,the author optimized the classification that the former researchers did from the perspective of the linguistic elements and launched a systematic comprehensive class observation to the adult foreign students of the elementary Chinese standard.The author chose two elementary classes in a university as the observation object in Suzhou province and took 33 class videos.Through the concrete data to analyze the students' feedback to different kinds of classroom activities.Use Excel to analyze data and make some tables to make the conclusion more evident and find out the most effective classroom activity type and the best organization form.Try to figure out the reason why some activity cannot reach a satisfying effect.Above all,the aim of this paper is to improve the efficiency of the classroom activity and help Chinese teachers to reflect deficiencies.At the end of the paper the author did an instructional design to be a model for the others to refer to.
