The drama of Azalea mountain was originally made by Shuyuan Wang,later adapted from the collective as the Model-Theatrical-Works,Beijing opera.During the period,it was rewritten several times,and its tittle was once changed into Duquan mountain.In the end,it was finalized by Beijing Opera Studio in September 1973,which was the most popular version of the market.When Azalea mountain from the preliminary sof drama into the ModernPekingopera(the version from 1964),its plots and structures had producedmany changes,among which the weakening of the narrationand the increase ofcontingencypromptedthe reunion end to come in advance,and the tragic experience of figures was obviously reduced.Moreover,the adaptation of characters and language were more close to the aesthetic characteristics of Beijing opera,and the characters’ role consciousness was more distinct,and some minor characters began to beco’me the foil of the protagonist.When the work of Azalea mountain was further adapted to the final version from 1973,the change of the scene,props and the remolding of the language and characters were influenced by the principle of "three prominent",and the theme of the revolutionary politics was constantly established and strengthened in the text.And the behavior of figures became subject solely to the influence of class identity and followed by the feature of polarization.
