Research On The Phenomenon Of "Actor-turn-director" In Huallywood Films

Included with people、language、history and social life,Huallywood is all about China.With the people in China as the main body of film production,the Chinese language as the basic film language,It’s also on the theme of the Chinese social life,moreover,it use Chinese history as an important film resource and rooted in Chinese land(including mainland China and Taiwan,Hong Kong and Macao)In terms of connotation and extension,compared with traditional Chinese films,or Chinese films,there is a lot of expansion and extension in Huallyood.At present,with the continuous development of China’s economic construction and the increase of comprehensive national strength,the film industry,as an important part of the cultural industry,has also achieved great development.Not only the movie box office is increasing in successive years,but the surrounding industry has also been greatly developed."Actor-turn-Director" refers to the actor’s transformation as a director’s behavior.This trend is popular in the world,especially in Hollywood.In 2012,Xu Zheng,a great actor,filmed "Thailand" and got great success.Thereafter,"Actor-turn-Director" has developed rapidly in China and soon formed a group of actors across the border.Many of them have made outstanding achievements,such as Wu Jing,Chen Sicheng.Meanwhile,The phenomenon of "excellent guide" has been explored.In addition to the introduction and the conclusion,the thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is the background analysis.It first explains the basic concepts of the the Chinese Huallywood film and the connotation and conditions of"Actor-Turn-Director",followed by the background analyzes of social,cultural and market.The three perspectives have analyzed the times environment for the emergence of "Actor-Turn-Director",highlighting the impact of the improvement of the audience’s demand for economic development and the influence of public consumption culture to "Actor-Turn-Director";The second part is the description of the current situations and the causes of them.It points out the current development status of "Actor-Turn-Director",including the continuous expansion of the directors,the Comedy oriented,and the uneven quality of the films.Then the cause analysis was conducted.From the perspective of objectiveness and subjectivity,the reasons for the phenomenon of“Actor-Turn-Director”were analyzed.Subjective reasons include the unprecedented prosperity of the movie market,the continuous reduction of the director’s threshold,and the pursuit of economic interests.Subjective causes include breaking through self-worth,enriching the life experience,the personal business encounters a bottleneck;The third part discusses the problem and uses a questionnaire survey method to summarize and sum up the problems that existed in the“Actor-Turn-Director”.Including blindly catering to the market,abusing the celebrity effect,lacking in the individuality of the director,and weak directorship.The fourth part deals with suggestions for countermeasures,and puts forward corresponding suggestions on how to improve“Actor-Turn-Director”.Included with strengthening the diversification of film themes,strengthening of self-directed training of directors,necessity of adapting to markets,changing markets,and supporting policy support.
