Chinese traditional culture is extensive and profound,and has a far-reaching influence in world culture.In November 2016,the “Twenty-four Solar Terms” culture was formally included in the UNESCO Human Intangible Cultural Heritage Representative List.The“Twenty-four Solar Terms” culture is a time-based knowledge and practical system created by our ancestors.It is based on the experience in production and life and reflects Chinese traditional outlook on the universe and life.It plays an important role in traditional agriculture society.The “Twenty-four Solar Terms” culture has been endowed with a variety of folk customs and festival customs and has deeply integrated into our modern life.The successful application of the “Twenty-four Solar Terms” culture declared the world’s attention to the culture of “Twenty-four Solar Terms”.It is imperative to mobilize all the social forces to pass on it in order to promote the rejuvenation of the “Twenty-four Solar Terms” culture.In the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,it is important to introduce the “Twenty-four Solar Terms” culture into class and choose appropriate methods for learners to accept.This paper firstly introduces the related research on Pedagogy of Performing Another Culture and teaching Chinese as a foreign language.After practical investigation and research,the thesis reflects the applicability of Performing Another Culture in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.It analyzes the teaching objects,teaching objectives,teaching contents and teaching principles.Finally,taking the advanced class students as teaching subjects,and the body performing culture teaching method as the main teaching methods,designed a relatively full-blown Chinese specific teaching case of the “24-season festival” culture and proposed teaching suggestions.In the end it designs lessons for advanced foreign students in performing culture methods and showing teaching suggestions.To sum up,this paper focuses on the study of the design of teaching Chinese as a foreign language on the basis of the performing culture teaching method.It aims to draw attention on the study of teaching methods on teaching Chinese as a foreign language and bring inspirations to teachers and learners.
