Research On The Technique Of “Tanlun” In Traditional Chinese Dulcimer Music School

The traditional dulcimer school is a kind of four traditional schools with local musical style which is formed gradually by combining the folk regional style of various places:Guangdong music school,Jiangnan sizhu school,Sichuan school and Dongbei school.Among these schools are "play,wheel,tremble,slide,dot,dial,rub,hook".One of the most distinctive techniques of dulcimer performance is the tanlun technique.In this paper,the author combines the tanlun technique with the traditional dulcimer music school from three aspects: First of all,from the use of bamboo yangqin tools and the pursuit of linear characteristics to reflect the common.Then through the comparative analysis of the playing method,the strong and weak position,the use category in the four traditional dulcimer schools to carry on the difference characteristic elaboration: the Guangdong music dulcimer is the tanlun stop trembling before the end,Jiangnan sizhu request to keep the vertical direction when play the tanlun,Sichuan yangqin tanlun advocate gravity playing method,Dongbei yangqin playing method refers to tremble;The positions of strong and weak are different,Guangdong dulcimer and Jiangnan sizhu dulcimer are mostly in weak beat or weak position,Sichuan dulcimer appears in strong beat strong position,and the Dongbei dulcimer round changes with the change of music mood;the use type is different,Guangdong dulcimer music often uses double tanlun,Jiangnan sizhu dulcimer use the left tanlun,Sichuan dulcimer is also commonly used left round but mostly in strong position,the Dongbei dulcimer is mostly using double tanlun and continuous tanlun.Finally,analyzes the relationship between the traditional style of music and the skills of tanlun in combination with the background of the traditional genres of dulcimer.Through the comparison and analysis of the similarities and differences of the traditional dulcimer schools,demonstrated relationship between the skill and the traditional music.Stick out the skills in traditional dulcimer music performance,so that dulcimer performers better understand and grasp the traditional dulcimer of the wheel skills.
