| The report is based on an academic text of news media named The distribution of news.The book mainly introduces the history of news and the emergence of property rights in the press circle.The text contains a multitude of professional expressions concerning news and property rights,meanwhile,parentheses and attributive clauses can be often seen in this book,and even some postpositive attributive make it harder to translate.Nowadays,people pay little attention to news media,let alone translation strategies of this industry.Therefore,this report and translation practice are beneficial to those who are interested in the book.In the process of translating,the translator may encounter two sorts of translation problems,which are the translation of Parentheses and attributive clauses.To the first kind of problem,the translator has chosen division,amplification method and then reorganize according to logistics.In response to the second kind,the translator adopt pre-attribute and post-attribute method to solve it.Through the translating practices,the translator can have a deeper understanding of the book and the translation skills of this book as well as relevant types of texts,hoping that the translation skills can be a guide for other translators. |
