Study On Xu Zi’s Xiao Tian Ji Zhuan

Xu Zi(1810-1862)was the famous Sinologist and historian during the mid and late Qing Dynasty,His research was very wide.Xiao Tian Ji Nian Fu Kao and Xiao Tian Ji Zhuan had remedied the regret on the whole annalistic and biographical history of the Southern Ming Dynasty.It had initiate contribution on compile of the Southern Ming Dynasty.All these had a profound effect on later.It became an important reference on the south ming dynasty.Xiao Tian Ji Zhuan had referenced more than 60 kinds historical data.He made a detailed textual research,These two books had unabridged style and detailed contents.It’s handwriting is not only different from the ming adherent historian but also different from the official argument of the qing dynasty.They referenced more than 60 kinds historical data.Xiao Tian Ji Zhuan recorded more 520 historical figures.It existed for supplement with Xiao Tian Ji Nian Fu Kao.It is the achievement of xu zi’s humanistic pragmatism history.It is full of abundant time feature.This thesis contains four chapters.the first chapter study on Xu Zi’s lifttime and academic.The second chapter presents it’s compiling and spread.The third chapter tells xu zi’s philology success.The forth chapter presents his philology ideology.He had shifted to study the history of Southern Ming Dynasty.Finished Xiao Tian Ji Nian Fu Kao and Xiao Tian Ji Zhuan.Xu Zi collected numerous Southern Ming historical materials,studying and examining on large,thus his numerous works have highly historical value including the correcting the inaccuracy of his privately redacted historism.These two books continued abundant historical reviews on them.Furthermore Xu Zi had numerous anthology between the minority and Han nationality,reconciled on ethnic contradiction.Thus,His works enriches our knowledges,including abundant time feature.
