From ancient times to now,death as the ultimate destination of human is the motif of philosophy and literary works.The theme of death,image interpretation and form construction in the film,all of which add a speculative color to this philosophical proposition from different dimensions,and explore the expression of death in the film,is undoubtedly an important field of film text research,through this theme,to see the differences of different ethnic cultures.The expression of Japanese movie on this theme has formed a unique style,which is related to its cultural tradition.Taking the expression of death in Japanese cinema as an example,this paper is divided into three parts from three perspectives: geographical ecology,philosophical system and religious belief.First,from the Japanese culture,and through the literature research,film analysis method to explore the death characteristics of Japanese films,further to the theme analysis of the Japanese film death theme model,combined with the image style,summed up the difference of Japanese film neutral differential death performance;secondly,carding the death of Japanese films in the three style of death style experience.With the aid of semiotics,it analyzes the death imagery with national characteristics in different stages,and finally returns to the root of the Japanese traditional culture in search of national aesthetic consciousness.Thirdly,it compares the theme of Chinese films to explore the similarities and differences between national cultural differences and the aesthetic consciousness of death.
