Histroy,Efficiency And Legitimacy:Mechanism Analysis On The Transition Of Danwei Institution

In the past 67 years, Heilongjiang Reclamation Area gradually formed a special institution,which performs multiple functions, including economic production, administration, public services and other functions. Putting all these functions together leads to a unified organization of party, politics, enterprise and society. In this research, Heilongjiang Reclamation Area will be put into the context of Danwei Institution, through comparing the"institutionalized organization" of Heilongjiang Reclamation Area with typical Danwei Insititution, we will show the mechanism and characteristics of "typical Danwei Insititution"in the specific temporal and institutional environment, especially in the traditional "dual society" structure. We extract historical mechanism, efficiency mechanism and legality mechanism from the three major schools of new institutionalism, which are historical institutionalism, rational choice institutionalism, sociological institutionalism, to analyze the institutional transition history of Heilongjiang Reclamation Area, to explain the characteristics of organizational structure and behaviors, and to reflect the current dilemma in the tension of different mechanisms. On the basis of demonstrating inherent mechanism and developmental dilemma, we hope that this research will provide some references for the future development of Heilongjiang Reclamation Area.
