A Study On Police Intervention In Domestic Violence

With domestic violence intensified,it become a cancer in a civilized society.It infringes people's physical and mental health,destroy family's harmony,affect social harmony and stability.In this paper,from the definition of domestic violence,the article analyze the problem one by one to define implementation,and distinguish it from abuse.By recording the social status of the domestic violence,and the types of it,the paper summarizes the problem.In this paper,I explore the deep cause of family violence from the historical,social,economic point of view,finding out the cause of adverse factors,stimulating basis for further intervention.The article then analysis the intervention to domestic violence,pointing out why in the work of comprehensive prevention and control of domestic violence.of course,the police intervention on domestic violence problems have a lot of trouble,such as the instability of the family ethics at present stage,,the lack of legal awareness and self-protection ability.Many agencies not free,legal mechanism,such as lack of practical difficulties.In view of the above difficulties,this paper has studied the countermeasures of police intervention in domestic violence in the United States,Norway,Canada,Australia and Chinese Taiwan and Hong Kong,and combined with China's history,culture,economy,rule of law and human rights protection.This article focuses on how to solve this realistic dilemma,establishing the attitude of the police intervention to uphold the position,which will help to resolve the plight of China's police intervention in domestic violence,for better to provide reference for the prevention and treatment of domestic violence.
