Study On The Countermeasures Of Breaking The "Danger From The Masses" Of Party Members And Cadres

The report of the 18 th national congress of the communist party of China(CPC)pointed out that " the danger of spiritual laxity,lack of ability,detachment from the masses,and the danger of passive corruption are more sharply placed before the whole party",among which detachment from the masses is the greatest danger.The Marxist view of the masses,the struggle history of our party for more than 90 years and the lessons of the former Soviet communist party all tell us that we must close the masses and represent the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people in order to win the hearts and minds of the people.With the reform and opening up and the deepening development of socialist construction,the party's mass work has produced some new situations and new problems.on the one hand,the characteristics and laws of the current mass work have changed.on the other hand,the mass team has changed: the structure of social strata is diversified,and the pattern of social interests is complicated.On the other hand,it is the current problems of some party members and cadres: first,adhere to the Marxist view of the masses is not enough,the practical significance of the Marxist view of the masses is not enough understanding,did not establish a correct view of power,achievements and interests.Second,the ability of the masses to work is insufficient,the concept does not keep pace with the times,grasp the law of mass work is not accurate,lack of practical learning atmosphere,lack of mass work practice.Third,the party-masses communication system mechanism is not perfect.Fourth,there is a gap between the rich and the poor,and it is not enough to safeguard the interests of the masses.In order to solve the problem,we must keep the flesh-and-blood relationship between the party and the masses and break the danger of "breaking away from the masses".first,we must keep in mind the fundamental purpose of the party and stand firm on the position of the masses.Second,to improve and innovate the method of contacting the masses,close the relationship between the party and the masses.Third,we must resolutely oppose " four winds".Fourth,we should earnestly safeguard the interests of the masses and co-ordinate the interests of the people.Fifth,improve the ability of leading cadres to do mass work,and actively participate in practice.Close relationship between the party and the masses,in order to obtain the approval and support of the masses,to provide a solid mass basis for the success of all undertakings in the modernization drive.
