The questionnaire shows that:many chemistry students lack proper understanding of scientific inquiry literacy.Their understanding of scientific inquiry and Scientific inquiry ability elements is inaccurate. The main reason is that for a long time exam-oriented traditional education ignored the cultivation of students' scientific Literacy,only paying attention to students' learning and mastering of scientific knowledge, ignoring the development of scientific attitude, scientific method and scientific spirit.In order to enhance students' scientific literacy,the paper gives the strategies.first,The importance of experimental teaching for cultivating students' scientific inquiry should be regarded;The second,changing the concept of education, strengthening the combination of humanistic education and quality education can be used to cultivate the students' science inquiry;in the meantime,individual students, schools and the community and the family should strengthen the cultivation about students' Scientific inquiry literacy.
