The traditional sport culture of the Miao nationality is important part of the traditional sport culture of minorities in China,the development of which will determine sound development of traditional sport culture work of all minorities directly.Influenced by globalization,informatization and urbanization,the traditional sport culture of the Miao nationality confronts unprecedented development dilemma,so that some traditional sport culture of the Miao nationality has been dying out under severe environment.How to inherit the traditional sport culture of the Miao nationality under new historical background becomes an urgent issue to solve.This paper mainly utilizes pedagogy,sociology,logistics and other related theoretical knowledge of discipline,and in combination with literature reviews,interviewing,field investigation and other research methods,studies school education inheritance of traditional sport culture of the Miao nationality.This paper firstly discusses the significance of school education inheritance of minority cultures,and also sorts literatures related to this research,gives summarization and brief comments as well as defines related concepts.Secondly,it analyzes theories and practice of multicultural education and indicates the significance of multicultural education to school education development.Moreover,by analyzing related concepts of intangible cultural heritage as sport,it analyzes characteristics,functions and connotations of traditional sport culture of the Miao nationality as well as its natural,national and social mode of inheritance.Accordingly,in combination with current state of traditional sport culture of the Miao nationality and its internal and external practical dilemma,it analyzes the necessity and possibility of inheriting the traditional sport culture via school education.It puts forward mode of school education inheritance as well as respectively discusses basis,principles and forms of school educationinheritance.Finally,under multicultural education background,it discusses and puts forward implementation strategies of effective inheritance in three aspects,namely the first is the school education shall insist on courses as carrier,to perfect and strengthen‘the first classroom',‘the second classroom' and ‘the third classroom' and several other forms for close coordination,the second is that,in this process,local normal universities,regional teacher educat-ion alliance and others shall,from the perspective of preservice and post-service integration,give full play its due role for inheriting minority cultures in the process of engaging in primary and middle school education.The third is that it is also necessary to establish corresponding safeguard measures,to ensure traditional sport culture of the Miao nationality being inherited successfully in school education.
