The Effect Of Employment Placement Policy For Guangxi's Retired Athletes

Employment placement for retired athletes is a matter of great concern.With the data of employment placement in Guangxi,this thesis is going to study on the effect of employment placement policy for Guangxi's retired athletes.With the research standard of the combination of facts and values,this paper analyzes on the weaknesses of the effects of policy implementation and their reasons from the viewpoints of sports departments as policymakers and policy implementer,and policy stakeholders.Finally,it tries to provide some feasible suggestions of the employments placement policy for Guangxi's retired athletes.The main research methods of this thesis are documentation method,questionnaires method and mathematical statistics.By doing the research,it tries to find out the following main problems:1.lack of enough employment channels for the increasing retired athletes year by year;2.insufficiency of government implementation of employment placement for the retired athletes;3.the lag of policy and slow implementation;4.shortage of career planning as a result of poor qualification;5.deficiency in effective sections cooperation system;6.the standards of compensation mismatching with economic development levels;7.lack of funds and policies support for their self-employment;8.difficulty meeting employment trainings because of low income;9.influence on employment placement from their sports items.According to the above problems,this paper conducts an analysis on government structure,sports departments,policy environment,compensation level,athletes'qualification and so on.Finally,it tries to propose some strategies to improve the current policy as followings:1.widening more employment channels and developing diversity of employment pattern;2.enforcing government's implementation ability and playing a leading role of government;3.improving policy safeguard mechanism and exerting the functions of policy guidance;4.development in all-round way for the retired athletes and strengthening their competitiveness;5.promoting the sports industry vigorously and promoting economy to boost the employment.
