Children with intellectual disability have their own characteristics of speech language ability.They always have less vocabularies than normal children with the problems of tone error,wrong pronunciation and unclear articulation.And their syntactic structure is too simple which makes them too hard to study compound sentences.The author takes T school as an example to analyze the curriculum form,teaching material,faculty and existing problems in special educational schools.This study is expected to confirm the effectiveness of Cross Class Grouping teaching model which is tried out in T school.The author designs a single factor experiment to discuss the application of Cross Class Grouping teaching model in speech training for children with intellectual disability by interpreting the definition,characteristics and specific implementation plans of the CCG teaching model.The results were obtained as follows:Difference between the third and first assessment is obvious in language and communication,cognition and social interaction of students who accepted the CCG teaching model,indicated that the CCG teaching model has great effect on the ability of children with intellectual disability in the above three fields.In short,the Cross Class Grouping teaching model is effective.The effect of the two teaching models on speech and language ability of children with intellectual disability is significant.The development of language ability in children with intellectual disability who accepted the CCG teaching model is better than those accepted the normal class teaching model.In other words,the application of Cross Class Grouping teaching model in speech training for low-grade students with intellectual disability is effective.And then,the author describes the existing problems of the CCG teaching model in the implementation process and proposes some improvement measures.
