Chemical equation is an important language in chemistry, and the mastery of chemical equation has a great influence on students' chemistry learning. It has been showed that at present,in high schools,no matter junior or senior students, they acquired chemical equation mainly by memory without knowing and establishing the relevant "chemical concept," such as classification Concept, and conservation concept. And so the writing of unfamiliar information formula also presents as a problem. Therefore,in teaching chemistry, establishing "chemical concept” should be paid attention,so as to enable students to learn and analyze chemistry with relevant concept, and to improve chemistry teaching in senior high schools.“Concept construction” is essential in building students' chemical concept.Based on the analysis of the survey results, this paper puts forward the necessity and feasibility of promoting the teaching practice of "concept construction".Taking the representation of the chemical reaction as an example, the author carries out the teaching practice of "concept construction." The comparison of teaching practice of two groups of students taught by the author(2011 with traditional teaching while2014 with “concept construction” teaching)shows that the implementation of the "concept construction" teaching is very helpful for learning chemistry,it helps students build chemical knowledge frame, promote the transformation of students' way of learning, improve students' achievement. But "concept construction" teaching is a long-term and challenging work, teachers need to master and flexibly use relevant strategies to promote students' concept construction, while the formation of concept need long-term training which is a System engineering.
