Sports Industry Development In The Process Of Urbanization

Based on the theory of urbanization and industrial economics.The research is focused on the discussion of development in sports business during the process of Urbanization.From the study of the urbanization and the evolution of the sports industry in a fraction of developed countries,it is found that there is an internal relationship between the urbanization and the grow of sports industry.During urbanization,elements from increased sports population,elongated leisure time,raised residents' income,and the improved urban facilities etc.played a role to accelerate sports industry.In order to assemble a relatively complete research framework,the author take the sports industry in the process of urbanization in Shaanxi Province as the research subject.Empirical study and fact discuss on the development of urbanization sports industry will be initiated,through the method of historical analysis and logical analysis based on a number of first-hand materials from practical investigation.First,the author referenced the development of urbanization in the "Urban Development S-curve" proposed by Northam.Then the development rules of the sports industry during the urbanization in the developed countries are combined in the discussion.Author also referenced from Shaanxi government log,Shaanxi sports long and a lot of literatures,based on the yearbook of the statistics bureau,the urbanization degree of Shaanxi over the years is determined and the urbanization of Shaanxi is divided into four stages: start,stagnation,exploration,and development.Then,the author reviewed and studied the development of the sports industry in four stages of urbanization in Shaanxi,especially the characteristics sports activities.After clarifying the urbanization and sports industry development in Shaanxi,The development of the current stage of the population,economy,policy and other factors to the 2015 national sports industry special survey data as a supporting basis for the development of urbanization in Shaanxi Province at present stage of the sports industry in-depth analysis: including sports industry scale,structure and investment subject,as well as the development of sports industry and the difference between the two regions in northern Shaanxi.The results showed the following results,that urbanization is insufficient in Shaanxi,there are gaps between the Shaanxi sports industry and other developed provinces.And there are uneven urbanization levels among the cities in Shaanxi,and obviously the distribution of the sports industry is unbalanced.Shaanxi Province is lack of competitiveness in sports industry at the current urbanization stage.In order to solve the three problems above,author put forward the strategies and suggestions: First,take investment and financing system reform as a breakthrough to build the sports industry;Second,optimizing the type of regional sports industry development in Shaanxi,focusing on competition sports industry.Third,making reasonable adjustment to the regional structure and distribution of sports industry in Shaanxi.Forth,make the purpose clear,light the relative advantages of sports industry,further improve the revolution of supply side in the sports industry,and improve the competitiveness of sports industry of Shaanxi.
