This study explores the impact of family economic capital,cultural capital and social capital on the undergraduate higher education opportunity in Zhejiang from the perspective of family capital,which promotes the further development of the study on the higher education opportunity difference.From the point of view of the study object,it is the first time to investigate the difference of undergraduate higher education opportunity in Zhejiang from the perspective of family capital.It discusses the influence of different family capital on children's educational achievement and opportunity.From the point of view of the research content,the dissertation probes into the complex relationship between the economic capital and the undergraduate higher education.It reveals the intermediate process how the factors such as family economic capital,cultural capital and social capital are applied to the undergraduate higher education.The influence mechanism of family capital on the undergraduate higher education opportunity in Zhejiang has been showed comprehensively and extensively.This dissertation studies form the following aspects: Firstly,the literature in China and aboard has been sorted out to understand the research status in this field,the existing research results and the development trend of the review.It expounds the theoretical basis of the influence of family capital on higher education opportunity for different children from three perspectives of family capital.Secondly,undergraduate higher education opportunity in Zhejiang has been investigated empirically by the questionnaire survey,which reveals the difference state of students who with different family capital in Zhejiang entering different types of institutions and the degree how family economic capital,cultural capital and social capital make influence to enter different quality,level and nature institutions for students.Finally,according to the results of empirical research,this aspect analyzes the present status and its reasons for the undergraduate higher education opportunity,based on the combination of theory and practice,history and reality.It raises the practical strategy about improving undergraduate higher education opportunity for students with different family capital and the standard of undergraduate higher education equality from theperspective of government,institutions and families.The author tries to make efforts to improve undergraduate higher education opportunity equality in Zhejiang.The main conclusions include: family capital affects undergraduate higher education opportunity for students;students with different family capital are different in the amount of higher education opportunity,the type of higher education institutions and the popularity of major.At the same time,the three elements of family capital,namely,family economic capital,family cultural capital and family social capital,all affect undergraduate higher education opportunity for students.The promotion of the fairness of the enrollment opportunities for undergraduates in different families in Zhejiang Province To promote the equality of Zhejiang undergraduate higher education opportunity for students with different family capital can make efforts from three aspects: giving full play to the leading of government,improving education ability of families themselves,completing higher education admission policy and scholarship selection system.
