The Identity Formation And Dilemma Of Lesbian

The word "gay" in modern life is no longer strange,research about the cause of gay also gradually increased,but most of them take the gay men as the research sample,rarely involves the lesbian identity research,very few of them to analyze the personal life of lesbian sociological.To describe and analyze the formation process of lesbians identity,to know whether the postnatal environmental factors affect the formation of lesbians sexual identity,this paper selected five heterogeneity stronger lesbian as case in-depth interview,deeply excavate the five case's typical life events and gender identity formation process.To conclude the firsthand material which obtained by means of in-depth interviews,the results present the five interviewee's typical life events,to analyze its commonness and individuality with the formation process of sexuzlity identity.to summarize the main influencing factors on the lesbian identity,that is native family,peer groups,social environment and personal.Native family is the main place for the early socialization of children,in the analysis of the native family's influence,family violence,parents role absence,Oedipus complex and the childhood dress,other relative's influence on children and so on,all of these have an influence on the develop of child's gender consciousness at early age.At the same time,the effect of peer groups on the children's gender socialization is also important,including the interviewee's different emotional communication between the sexes in childhood and after enter the campus life,and objectively promoted the formation of identity.The influence of social environment,the social public opinion environment,social media,gay dating "being encouraged" and the gay subculture all of them have influence on the formation of lesbian identity.Above all the objective factors promote lesbians the active function of personal subjective factors,take the lesbian themselves as example,heterogeneity psychology,the gender division in sex and the opposite sex emotional frustration are the main factors of their identity confirmation.During the lesbian identity formation process,they face four kinds of trouble,like the family,the pressure of marriageable,the work and economic.This study analyzes the reasons from personal factors,family factors and social environmental factors and so on.According to the difficulties they faced and starting from the perspective of the family,school,social,law,and gays and lesbians themselves to provide social support like the emotional,instrumental,and material.
