Research On Management Mode Of Universities' Multi-campuses Under The Background Of New Campus Construction

In the mid-1990 s,the strategy of "rejuvenating the country through science and education" was put forward,and science and technology and education played a vital role in economic and social development.In the late 1990 s,under the direct promotion of the central government,colleges and universities gradually expanded the enrollment scale,and enrollment rate increased significantly.Higher education changed from elitism to popularization.With the implementation of the policy of enrollment expansion in colleges and universities,infrastructure and educational resources meet the challenge.The conditions of campus learning and living need to be improved.Thus,colleges and universities have to explore the expansion of school space,improve the campus' environment and promote the cause of universities' development.Building new campus breaks the traditional school pattern of “one school,one campus”,bringing many opportunities and challenges for multi-campuses management.Based on literature research and case analysis,this paper analyses management modes of universities' multi-campuses under the background of new campus construction.The paper pays more attention to practical application.First of all,development cause of colleges and universities' basic construction,new campus construction and relevant theories and domestic and foreign research on multi-campuses management have been summarized,and relevant concepts involved in the paper have been defined.Secondly,the paper introduces management modes in Chinese universities' multi-campuses,analyses different modes' advantages and disadvantages,influenced factors and existing problems on management mode of universities' multi-campuses,and introduces management modes and its significance on management modes of foreign universities' multi-campuses.Thirdly,based on multi-campuses' management of Tianjin University after new campus' construction,the paper elaborates its functional orientation and management mode,introduces its outstanding practices in the multi-campus management mode and provides references.Finally,the author puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures on management mode of universities' multi-campuses under the background of new campus construction.
