Political socialization is an important part of socialization,runs through a man's life.Especially in a high school student's process of growing up,political socialization is what he must experience.For a high school student,the textbooks of the Ideology and Politics is main way to be political socialization.In this sense,a study on the Ideology and Politics textbooks in the view of political socialization is very promising and constructive.This study,taking the high school Ideological and Political textbooks “Political life" and the corresponding part in curriculum standards,as a study target,analysis them in a view of the political socialization based on data analysis software N-vivo.At last,the study finds some conclusions as following:1.By horizontal comparison between different elements of political socialization,we found there are more political identity contents than political participation contents both in curriculum standards and textbooks.Political participation account for 11% in curriculum standards and only 7% in the textbooks.2.By vertical comparison between elements of political socialization,we found the textbooks pay more attention on the political knowledges than political emotions.National Emotion account for 1/3 of the total in National Identity,Emotional Identification account for 1/6 of the total in Political Institution Identification,Confidence in Government account 1/6 of the total in Government Identification,Sense of Party Affiliation account 1/4 of the total in Party Identification.3.We also found that there are differences in the importance of dimensions of Emotional Identification.They pay more attention on attraction affective identification than critical affective identification.The frequency is 32 of Attraction affective identification while it is only 5 of critical affective identification in the Political Institution Identification,the frequency is 18 of Attraction affective identification while it is 0 of critical affective identification in Party Identification.Based on the analysis on textbooks,we interviewed teachers to explore the use of textbooks.Finally,we make reasonable suggestions of using textbooks.
