The adolescents are just from the primary school to secondary school,they are at the initial stage of puberty,and peer relationship is an important part in interpersonal relations for them.Studies at home and abroad have shown that whether the level of peer relationship good or not,which will have an important impact on the development of young people,including the impact on their psychological adaptation.The adolescents who have the good level of peer relationship,when they meet some psychological adaptation problems,they will not only ask their partners for help,but also usually communicate with each other.So this type of adolescents have a better adaptability.And communication in the process of adaptation are closely related to the relationship between each other,so a virtuous circle is formed.That is to say,the improvement of peer relationship can improve the status of psychological adaptation.And group guidance is one of the effective ways to influence the peer relationship of junior high school students.This study consists of two parts: Study one,analyzes the relationship of peer relations and psychological adaptation in the new middle school students;Study two,conduct group guidance for peer relationship of the new middle school students,and discusses whether the group counseling can improve the peer relation of the first year students,and discusses whether the group counseling can improve the peer relations of the first year students or not,and furthermore to improve their psychological adaptation.Conclusion summarized as follows:The first study shows that:1.The first year students' peer relationship shows significant difference between gender.Girls' peer relationship is significantly higher than boys.Peer relationship in whether accommodation shows significant difference,boarding students peer relationship is significantly higher than that of non resident students.The peer relationship shows no significant difference in whether is the only child or whether the class cadre.2.The first year students' psychological adaptation shows significant differencebetween gender.Girls' psychological adaptation is significantly higher than boys.There is a significant difference in psychological adaptation in whether or not only child.The psychological adaptation of non only children is higher than the only child.Psychological adaptation shows significant difference in whether the class cadre.Class cadre's psychological adaptation is higher than that of non class cadres.Psychological adaptation shows significant difference on whether accommodation,the accommodation students' psychological adaptation is higher than that of non resident students.3.The multiple dimensions of peer relationship have a significant correlation with multiple dimensions of psychological adaptation,that is to say,the better the peer relationship is,the better the individual's psychological adaptability.The second study shows that:There is no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group.But through group counseling,the experimental group' peer relationship has significantly improved,and the scores of peer relationship and psychological adaptation are significantly different in the front and back tests.And there is significant difference between the pre test and the post test in the experimental group,so this shows that the study of group counseling is effective.
