The Study Of Teachers' Verbal Behavior In The Science Teaching Activities Of Kindergartens

In the Science Teaching Activities(STA)of kindergartens,Teachers' Verbal Behavior(TVB),which is an important part of Teachers' Teaching Behavior(TTB),is a major carrier and tool for guiding children to think and explore and achieving the objective of science teaching.TVB in STA has a direct influence on the effect of Science Teaching and plays an irreplaceable role in the cultivation of desire and ability in children's scientific inquiry.This study takes A kindergarten in Anshan as an example,taking 12 teachers in this kindergarten as the research object,using the methods of combining cases,literature,observation and interview to study TVB in STA.This study consists of five parts: the first part discussed the background and significance of the study,defines the relevant concepts,puts forward the theoretical basis and summarizes the related research;The second part introduces the research design issues,such as the purpose,content,object and method of the study.The third part reflected the characteristics of the TVB according to the author's classification and statistics of the TVB in the STA.The study found that teachers in the STA asking verbal behavior had the highest frequency,intuitionistic explanation is rich in verbal behavior,more closed questions than creative questions,more requirements and suggestions than encouragement,routine inquiries more than specific inquiries,affirmative result evaluation is more than process specific evaluation,affirmative and recommended feedback is dominant;the fourth part analyzed the problems and causes of TVB.The problems included insufficient enlightening,lack of effectiveness,high control,and neglecting process specific evaluation.The reasons included the two factors of teachers and kindergartens.The fifth part put forward some suggestions on improving the quality of TVB.
