Deaf children need hearing and speech rehabilitation training when they wear hearing aids or implant cochlea,which is a long and arduous process.The development of spoken language is very difficult for many deaf children,and many deaf chileren have many problems in spoken language,which also results in barriers between deaf children and others.At present,language rehabilitation training usually adopts the way of face-to-face teaching,such as training or group teaching.A teacher has to face the number of students.Such training faces several outstanding problems: teachers are difficult to take care of the characteristics of each student;the training of the teachers and students at the same time will lead to the lack of the overall training time required by the students;the teacher's face-to-face teaching methods are single,and the deaf children are difficult to maintain their interest and motivation for a long time.These conditions let the teacher feel the pressure,but also affected the students' oral English learning,and the process of the whole school for deaf children.Based on this,researcher hopes to find a more effective way.Many educational information and related studies abroad show that iPad has a good effect on deaf children's language training,but no research and application have been seen in China at present.For this purpose,the researcher tries to use iPad software in the case guided by researcher.In this research,researcher is faced with the following problems: 1,how to choose the right iPad software.2,how to design and implement the teaching in combination with the characteristics of iPad and spoken language teaching of deaf children.3,how to test the effectiveness of teaching.IPad is a kind of assistive technology for deaf children.In order to make the selection and effect evaluation of this study can be carried out scientifically under the guidance of relevant theories,this study considers the use of SETT model suitable for special student assisted technology as a reference.This research also explores a set of methods and processes to intervene the deaf children's oral communication based on the iPad software on the basis of solving individual cases.This case is a 6 year old deaf children,the main problems in oral communication are lack of active communication,low vocabulary,and low voice volume.Through many ways of selection and trial,researchers have chosen four software that can cause cases to ask questions and improve their learning interest.Using the literacy software and the story software to stimulate her to communicate and ask questions,and to learn vocabulary,and to use software that needs to speak loudly to stimulate her to speak loudly and to increase the time for language practice.These softwares can be used under the guidance of teachers,and can also be used under parents' guidance after class.The conclusions of this study are as follows:1 After iPad software teaching,the initiative communication,vocabulary volume and voice volume of the case have been greatly improved.2 The selection of iPad software: identify the students' abilities,problems,base on the selection of software,search and select software based on the corresponding keywords and age,use the tools of the SETT model to select the information from the scaffolding table to match the features of the iPad software,and then make use of the educational software evaluation criteria of the deaf and the heavy hearing people.Scoring,selecting the software with higher scores,trying out the final teaching software.In addition,the following problems should be paid attention to when the software is selected: first,we should make clear the relevant information of the case ability,obstacles and needs,and make clear the teaching objectives and choose the software according to the teaching objectives;the number of software should not be too much;the selection of software should be completed on the basis of the cooperation of professional personnel.3 The key point of teaching intervention.About teaching methods: This study is based on auditory oral grammar,combined with story teaching method to teach cases.Teaching strategies: interactive scenes built using iPad software to actively interact with cases;teaching content from vocabulary to sentences;building language situations based on storyline or teaching content;timely strengthening and encouragement.4 iPad software teaching effectiveness detection: first determine the students' baseline ability and set the expected and measurable teaching objectives.It can consider the students' changes from the dimensions of quality,quantity,accuracy,independence,speed and other dimensions,clarify the related personnel,implement the teaching scheme,and clear the way of collecting data and information.Quality assurance;collecting data in teaching process and evaluating effectiveness.5 A set of process and method for intervention of deaf children's oral communication problems based on iPad software is summarized to provide references for peers and deaf children's parents and teachers.
