With the huge demand of the Internet economy and e-commerce for the express delivery industry, the express delivery economy has developed rapidly, and the courier group has gradually become a high-profile workforce. There has been some research on the courier's work experience. However, there is still a lack of research on couriers from the perspective of labor process theory.Based on the interviews and non-participation observations of first-line couriers, this article describes the labor process experience of the couriers in detail from the perspective of the labor process study, including managerial control of the couriers, the couriers' dissatisfaction, voice and resistance,in order to present the full image of the courier's labor process. The author believes that the management of the courier by the employer has the characteristics of computer control, which is mainly reflected in the specific requirements of the courier's work flow and work operations through the computer system.Informal communication and welfare concerns are the means by which employers try to appease couriers and dispel their dissatisfaction. In addition to the managerial control and pacifying behaviors of employers, this article also trys to present courier's subjectivity in the labor process. The couriers have their own understanding of the express delivery work, and have their own professional strategy and sometimes respond negatively to the company's requirements. They are not always in a passive position under the managerial control of employers. And the expression of their resistance manifests itself in two ways,small-scale strikes or leaving directly.
