A Study On Irrational Expressions From The Perspective Of Internet Public Sphere

“Public Sphere” is an open public space which is independent of the state and society.In this public space,all citizens participate in the formation of public opinion on the basis of rational criticism of public events.Openness and criticism are the most important features of the public sphere.With the rapid development and wide application of Internet technology,the network public sphere is an extension of the traditional public domain.The boundaries between the public sphere and the private sphere are becoming clearer.Since the official launch of “Sina Weibo”,along with the growing number of user groups,obviously,it has great influence on citizen's life,thinking,communication and other aspects.This thesis,from the point of view of Habermas' s public sphere,taking Sina Weibo as the research object,the theory of communicative action as the theoretical framework and the “communicative rationality” as the guide,defines the connotation of network public sphere,rational and irrational expressions,and traces the development of micro blog especially Sina Weibo.By referring to users' comments on hot events in Sina Weibo,this thesis classifies the irrational expression and analyzes their manifested features,so as to explain the root causes,the reasons and the social effect of irrational expressions in Sina Weibo.Combining theory with practice,this paper puts forward some regulation countermeasures for the non-rational expressions of Sina Weibo users,and some suggestions to and reflections on the expressions of public opinion and public network political participation.
